L'il Chipper Ice Carving Workshop
Evening Drop-In L'il Chipper Classes
Bring the entire family for a free evening L'il Chipper Class from January 16 to 20 at 7:00 pm. The classes are filled on a first-come first-served basis.
The L'il Chipper Program for schools is fully booked for 2012! School Groups are invited to the new Art in Action Program
The Ice on Whyte Festival is pleased to present L’il Chippers workshops for school groups in partnership with Crystal Glass. These workshops give students the opportunity to experience the art of ice carving first-hand with an artist instructor.
Program Details
- January 16 – 20, 2012 at 10:00 am, 10:45 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm and 1:15 pm.
- School groups register with a maximum of 30 students per time slot
- If your class exceeds 30 students you must book two time slots
- Ice carving sessions are approximately 30 minutes long
- The remaining 30 minutes the students enjoy the slide, castle and park
- Cost is $3.00 per student
Ice On Whyte Fullfillments
- Send an invoice upon registration
- Provide the instructor
- Provide the carving ice and tools
- Make the Yess Café available
Schools Requirements
- Register their class
- Collect signed waiver forms from all participating students
- Provide transportation to and from ice on whyte
- Pay for the workshop prior to arrival
- Bring waiver forms and present to the instructor
- Ensure that the children are dressed for outdoor activities
- Provide 4 – 5 adults to supervise students in the park
- Ensure that children do not leave the Yess café with food or beverages at any time
