Alberta-Heilongjiang 30th Anniversary Winter Festival Overview

From January 12 to 22, 2012, the Alberta Legislature's west lawn, will be home to the Government of Alberta's 30th anniversary celebration of the twinning of sister provinces Alberta and Heilongjiang, China.

The celebration commemorates the successful business, culture and artistic endeavours accomplished by the two provinces in the last 30 years.  Heilongjiang is sending over their best ice sculptors to mark the occasion, giving Albertans the chance to experience world-class ice and snow carvings.

During the 11 day celebration, the Alberta House Entertainment tent will showcase amazing local talent in theatre, music, art and dance. For a full list of performances and times, please see the Program of Events link on the left side of this page.
