January 25th to February 3rd, 2013
The International Ice Carving Competition launches the festival. From January 25 to 27, artists from around the world create 10 ice masterpieces. Watch the magic happen as these talented artists tranform 10 blocks of crystal clear ice into magnificent works of art in only 35 hours. Certified judges begin deliberating and scoring at noon on Sunday, January 27th and the awards are presented at 3 pm in the YESS Cafe. (Remember to vote for the People's Choice Award and be entered to win a fabulous prize)
Ice on Whyte is celebrating winter in northern climates and partnering with 5 local cultural groups to present music, dance, crafts, storytelling, food, fashion and more!
The 10th anniversary festival is going to be fantastic, the best yet!
