Final Weekend!

Chainsaw Wally here. Boy, things are really heatin' up as we head to the final weekend o' the Ice On Whyte Festival. First of all, you'll be tinkled pink to know: the festival grounds in Old Strathcona (Gateway BLVD and Tommy Banks Way) are open all day today, thanks to the better weather (a high o' minus 18 today!).
Meanwhile, the Alberta-Heilongjiang 30th Anniversary Winter Festival continues at the beautiful Alberta Legislature Grounds. Come see the snow n' ice carvings, partake in some good ole hot chocolate, take in the free entertainment in the heated tent, and enjoy the Free Streetcar Rides 'tween the Legislature Grounds and Old Strathcona.
Tonight's entertainment on the Streetcar is Don Berner, 7 - 8:30.
But there's a whole ton o' entertainin' stuff happenin' all day long and all through the weekend....
