Some folks have got real good looks.

That is to say: they look at the world in an interestin' and artistic-type way. Just check out some o' the pix bein' posted on the Ice On Whyte Facebook page these days. It's all part o' the Ice On Whyte Photo Contest.

Post yer photos on the Ice On Whyte Facebook page and you could win a Gift Package from all kinds o' great retailers in Edmonton's popular Old Strathcona area.

Who are the judges? Well, if yer anything like me, Chainsaw Wally, yer of the belief that "critics" simply get paid to criticize. And "judges" get paid to judge. So the votes for this y'har contest come from the discernin' public. Kinda like a People's Choice Awards-type thing.

What that means is: whoever gets the most "Likes" on Facebook wins.

So if you figure yer one o' them good-lookin' people (one o' them people who looks at the world in an interestin' and artistic-type way, that is), then bundle up today and head to the Ice On Whyte Festival grounds at Gateway BLVD and Tommy Banks Way. And snap away!

There are also some incredible ice and snow sculptures (like this y'har tiger) at the Alberta-Heilongjiang 30th Anniversary Celebration at the Alberta Legislature grounds.

The contest ends January 23. The winner'll be announced in early February, once we tally the "Likes".
