The Ice on Whyte Festival is pleased to present the Art in Action Program for school groups. In this program, students can play in the park, watch an ice carving demonstration by one of the festival’s talented artists and participate in the free programming listed below.

Edmonton Valley Zoo and John Janzen Nature Centre present Local Wildlife in Winter
Monday, January 28 & Thursday, January 31 from 11 am to 2:30 pm

Edmonton Public Library with Winter Stories and Crafts about the North
Tuesday, January 29 and Wednesday, January 30 from 11 am to 2:30 pm

The History Centre with Stories and Crafts about Alberta’s Fur Trade History
Friday, February 1 from 11 am to 2:30 pm

Cancellation Policy

If Ice on Whyte cancels your class trip for any reason, your school will be refunded the full amount paid. If your school cancels with Ice on Whyte with less than 7 days notice, no refunds is provided.
