Parking

The Ice on Whyte Festival's new site at End of Steel Park is next to the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market Parking lot (103 Street and 85 Avenue).

FREE PARKING is available to festival patrons except during Farmer's Market shopping hours (Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm).

NOTE: There is NO festival parking available in the Strathcona Centre Community League parking lot.

Please be a good neighbour and refrain from parking in the Strathcona Centre Community League neighbourhood as this causes congestion for residents.

Transit

High Level Bridge Streetcar

The Ice on Whyte Festival is thrilled that the restored 1912 Edmonton Streetcar will provide FREE transportation across the High Level Bridge between the Ice on Whyte Festival and the Celebrations on the West Lawn of the Alberta Legislature Grounds. The Streetcar will run on Thursday and Friday between 5 pm and 9:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday between 10 am and 9:30 pm during the festival. 

So, take the LRT to Grandin Station, check out the ice and snow carvings and activities on the West Lawn of the Legislature, then ride the Streetcar to Old Strathcona, cross the road and enjoy the festivitites at Ice on Whyte.

The Streetcar will depart from Grandin Station at 15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour.

The Streetcar will depart from Old Strathcona at on the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. Please remember that the final departure from Grandin Station to Strathcona is at 9:15 pm
